OUR MISSION

Here at A.L.E.C.S, we believe in every child’s ability to thrive. We are passionate about nurturing and encouraging child development by providing a safe environment for children and families to have their voices heard. Our focus is to educate, inform and supply parents and caregivers with the necessary tools and skills to better meet the needs of their children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).

About LaTasia

LaTasia “Tay” Franklin gained her initial experience helping youth diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2014, while working as a member of the AmeriCorps at a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in English from Georgia State University. In 2021, she earned an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology as well as a certificate in Positive Behavior Support from Northern Arizona University. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and a Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Arizona. Currently, she is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavioral Analyst (LBA) in the state of Hawai’i.


Tay has dedicated most of her career to improving family systems by educating and empowering parents and familiies of youth with ASD to advocate for their child. As CEO and Founder of A.L.E.C.S, Tay’s primary focus is to conduct evaluations and assessments related to ASD and other social, behavioral, emotional and academic areas. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys paddleboarding, puzzles, and reading!
